05 Nissan Sentra B15 1.8L

Fuel rail quick coupler removed. My understanding is that it has a shoulder at the base that a lot of units don't have - a lot of people learned that the hard way. According to the manual, tugging and twisting can damage the O-ring on the quick couplers.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • old

The right tool for the job!

If you need to test the fuel pressure on your Nissan VQ40DE, this is an essential fuel line removal tool located at the front of the left bank of the fuel rail so you can install your fuel pressure tester. There isn't much room for most fuel line disconnect tools, but this works great and is inexpensive!

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • No power

2005 Nissan Frontier Fuel Line Removal Tool!

Did the job of unlocking the fuel lines on my Nissan Frontier. Nice aluminum design with a loop and front locking pin to hold the two halves together when closed. I only took off one star because the rivet hinge design was too loose. I ended up using a small punch and a hammer to lightly tighten the rivet. Now the loop is tightened as it should be! I still recommend it to anyone who needs to disconnect the fuel lines on your imported car! CPS

Pros
  • Was a lot of fun
Cons
  • Empty

The right tool for the right job

Works well, 2009 Nissan Versa and 2007 Nissan Rogue. I'm a professional technician and I have a million and two tools to disable. Nissans have a protrusion next to the collar that prevents the standard tooling from working. These are similar in design to Ford's transmission hose disconnect switches, but they were too short for these Japanese connectors. Tool Cart - $48 Revain - $14 Lisle also has a lifetime warranty. Always lucky with their tools.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Quality tool

The tool is a quality tool for disconnecting the 5/16" fuel line. It appears to be aluminum or similar metal so should be strong enough to last me a lifetime. and Aluminum 5/16" decoupler tools, but the benefit of this tool in my opinion is the sharp taper on the working end. If you work frequently with Toyota and Nissan fuel systems this tool will be a welcome addition to your tool kit. The price was a little below par at my local parts stores which was a plus The box doesn't say where theโ€ฆ
