Decent but clunky headphones.

Works decently for what it is used for. The earphone is a bit big, you have to get used to that. The sound quality is good, but difficult to hear when the background noise is louder.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Nearly Perfect Best for CB and Radio

Works great for noise reduction. Would give the product 5 stars if the earbuds were reversible. They are for the right ear only. Otherwise fast delivery, top packaging, product works perfectly!

Best Accessories Headsets

They were comfortable to wear and easier to use than other headsets. Too often the boom or stem of microphones was too short to reach the user's mouth. This kit allows you to bring the mic closer to your mouth, allowing you to hear your voice in crowded places, such as. B. at a concert, do not have to raise.

They work well in Portable Audio & Video

Once I realized that the push to talk button was where the microphone was, I was very happy with the performance. My ear canals aren't very large, so they loosen up when I speak. But otherwise stay where you are. My son prefers this model to the clear plastic tube. They do what they say and we had a great time with them opening the weekend of deer season.

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Minor issues

Useless improvement

While Midland improved their AVPH4 headsets over the AVPH3 in that the wiring was much simpler; the AVPH4 speaker is not good at all. Midland thinks it's an in-ear design, but the truth is there's not even a chance these earbuds will ever fit in anyone's ear. I'm not sure what human ear model they used to design this earbud around/inside, but it doesn't work. I wish I could figure out how to get in touch with Midland and ask them to refine the design into something that can actually work. Don't

Not worth the price

The first problem is that you have to set the switch on the microphone to the same position as the switch on the radio. They must both be on VOX or both on PTT. If you mix it up, it won't work and you will be very confused. At first I thought the mic switch would be an override, but it isn't. Maybe it's my fault. The second problem is that one of them was broken out of the box. The microphone didn't work. If the mic worked, I probably would have solved problem #1 much quicker. The third problem

Better, but not yet perfect

We use them on the church security team. A lot of people have complained about the uncomfortable earbuds, so I bought several sets of these earbuds. The volume was great and they are more comfortable if you can leave them inside. The first week I wore them I had no problems, but last week I just couldn't keep the speaker in my ear. Some men don't have this problem. When I ordered I don't know if I missed it, but the ones we received are all for the right ear. We have some who prefer the leftโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Very expensive
