Motorola T200TP Radio what you need! - my review about it

In my review, today we will talk about such a wonderful walkie-talkie manufactured by Motorolla, the TLKR-T50 model, a little background, because I love the Enduro motorcycle class, and this is off-road forest, etc. I ride not one, with my brother. And so I thought about the need for a walkie-talkie in order to contact each other in which case. And the choice fell on this model. So, let's begin! Everything is packed soundly in a blister, after opening, we see 2 walkie-talkies and 2 holder clips

Pros
  • Quality, price, durability.
Cons
  • An ancient type of battery.

Good day, dear readers of my reviews. Today I will again have a story about PMR radio stations in the range, which stands for Private Mobile Radio, and can also be found as Personal Mobile Radio, which is basically the same thing. This is one of the three ranges (CB; LPD; PMR), which does not require permission from a special service. Of course, subject to compliance with the permitted power, which, of course, is not observed by almost more than one manufacturer. Only the noble IKOM honors the…

Pros
  • Not expensive, easy to use, relatively reliable, no permit is needed to operate them.
Cons
  • Weak battery, poor key lock.

Good walkie-talkie for driving cars and not only

This winter, we decided to go on vacation with two families with children, and since there were too many of us for one car, we had to go in two. In order to make it more fun to ride, and even easier, we decided to buy a walkie-talkie for communication. We went to the nearest DNS store, where there is quite a decent assortment to choose from. Since I had never used such equipment before, I first opened the Internet and read which companies would be better and what you need to pay attention to (I

Pros
  • ~beautiful and bright design~, ~ quality and transmission distance on the road~, ~ good additional functionality~
Cons
  • ~ ugly fastening of the lanyard for wearing ~, ~ lost signal on uneven terrain ~

Convenient means for communication of people on big objects.

Working in a large area, constantly running around, calling employees is very inconvenient. The solution to the problem was the purchase of a portable radio station Motorola TLKR-T50. There are two walkie-talkies in the set, I will say not the cheapest of their representatives, on average about 3000 rubles per set, but at work it was necessary, so I had to purchase several sets. This is what the radios themselves look like. The transmission is clean, the signal is good, interference was rare…

Pros
  • Compact, easy to carry, push-to-talk, high volume, key lock, screen backlight, long battery life.
Cons
  • The carrying clip broke quickly

Motorola will NOT honor the warranty.

Motorola makes NO warranty. I bought t260 two packs. One of the radios stopped charging after 3 months. The battery was still okay, but if the radio was defective, it would not charge. I wrote to the company, they said that walkie-talkies are considered "disposable" and offered to buy a business model. "They have these problems because these radios are made for entertainment purposes. They cannot withstand heavy use. We have a whole department of business radio stations to suit your needs. You…

Pros
  • Rugged finish
Cons
  • Not sure

The battery life of the T265 is bullshit. T200 battery life is good

Radio is clean enough, finish is good. But the battery life is complete nonsense. If you leave the radio on for more than 24-48 hours after removing it from the charger and fully charged, only two bars will remain. I'll make use of it at this point for maybe a few days and use it from time to time to socialize and do farming chores on our 47 acre property. Then you will get BEEP BEEP, BEEP BEEP, which tells you that the battery is dead. Note that I've been using the T200 (bought a 3 pack) and…

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • There are problems

Good radios, bad battery life - with battery fixation

The battery pack contains three AA batteries, but if you read the nominal capacity (800 mAh) you will see that this is less than half the typical AA capacity . Replacing the battery with rechargeable AA batteries will more than double battery life, but you lose the ability to charge via the micro USB port. Luckily this is an easy fix: all you need is foil and tape and 3 x AA.1 NiMH rechargeable batteries. Remove the supplied battery pack from the compartment and set it aside.2. Tear and fold…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Some little things

Perfect for our needs

I bought these for myself and two elderly people I care for. We are separated by 1 floor. BATTERY: That was my biggest problem. Having seen this as a problem with almost every walkie-talkie in this price range, I chose the Motorola option for its dual-power capabilities (like NiMh or store-bought AA). For my purposes, NiMh batteries last long enough; with minimal effort. We have 1.5 to 2 days before we hear a faint battery "chirp" on any of the three. However, we only communicate with each…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes

  • Something else

Very good because I know their limits

I read a lot of reviews about radios. I learned how they work and decided what type is (FRS vs. GMRS) and decided that FRS would work fine for my needs. I also made notes about what frequency to stay on to be legal. I needed a basic two-way radio for an 800-mile, two-car trip to college to keep in touch. Thought it would be easier and safer than texting on the phone or using an app on the phone which still depends on the tower service. I was right about how easy and safe it was to use. The…
