The price for the performance is great. 165Hz is good. 1ms is deceptive. there is about 4-5 ms true gtg. Ghosts aren't perfect, they're noticeable, but not enough to spoil the impression. This monitor is very good. The rather large 27 in curves runs very smoothly with no dead pixels, nothing out of the ordinary. It took a few more minutes to set up, but it was good. I like that the monitor works well. But why should they put in a sound port if there are no speakers. Connections - 1x Displayport 1.2, 1x HDMI 1.4, 1x DVI, 1x audio combo jack. I've tried putting the cable across the audio is just weird but nothing works well except this one.

The video was very bad. Text has become pixelated and colors have been washed out. Tried changing several settings. MSI support cannot help. Returned and bought another branded monitor with the same specs which had a much better picture quality.

Tried multiple outlets, monitor won't turn on. will request a refund but it's just annoying that it doesn't work at all.

It's a great monitor to use, but it takes a long time to get any input. So when you need to toggle between inputs or get into the BIOS, you have to press keys long before anything appears on the screen.

I love this brand, this is my third msi monitor! Color ratio is good, curved display unbeatable for the price! 1ms response time, 165Hz is all I need :D Highly recommended!

I dropped my PC case glass on this monitor and thought I lost it forever. There are light scratches on the surface of the screen which I believe will disappear, but not a single dead pixel was found a few months after the incident. Very impressive.

The screen came with a small chip, still works, but it's just annoying when I keep looking at the dot in the middle of my monitor.

I found this exact 1440p monitor on NewEgg for a lot less. It's better that way, IMHO. If you have to decide whether to use 1080p or 2k, go for 2k/1440p. For certainty. I'm buying another one from NewEgg this week to replace my 27" MSI 1080p flat screen.

The monitor arrived with no problems. I checked for dead pixels and couldn't find it. The quality is excellent, as befits a $250 monitor. This is a really bright monitor causing blacks to fade/wash out. I've tried changing the monitor settings but it doesn't help much. I've tried changing the in-game settings and the blacks are slightly better. Apart from the fact that the black color is a little washed out due to the brightness, it is impeccable and highly recommended.

I might be a little biased having switched from a much lower quality monitor, but for the money this thing offers a TON. Excellent image quality, multiple tilt/telescope/etc adjustment settings and highly customizable. I wish it had a USB port, but for 165Hz and 1ms it was totally worth the small sacrifice.

Bought a couple of these monitors. One of the two stopped accepting input from the DP port two weeks after unpacking and installing. Submitted an RMA and found you had to pay to send it to a warranty location. Took it to FedEx and asked for help packing as it is a curved monitor. The cost to pack and ship from the east coast to California with enough insurance to cover the cost of the monitor, ground, and no express shipping was about $200, and the repair could take up to a month. Not a bad monitor, in fact I have a 144Hz version of the same monitor. This is a gaming monitor, but probably more suited to the casual gamer or movie watcher. Setup is easy with a single button and they can even be controlled using the MSI Display Kit (app). It comes with an HDMI cable, but you can also use DVI (why?) and DisplayPort (significantly better than HDMI if you can use it). I ordered two monitors, they are fantastic, but one came with a dead pixel. I contacted MSI directly and they have a 5px rule and they won't fix one or send a new one so I contacted Revain and they replaced it.

I don't know much about modern monitors, but I had no problems with this display. Serves its purpose and looks nice. Also, I got a curved monitor for the first time, and it was worth it.
