Good value for money on bars and stands

Just as good as the ones I've used in the studio but at a home user's price. The wheels are very quiet. good balance Not too hard.

Pros
  • A good thing
Cons
  • Doesn't fit all

Solid as a Rock at Booms & Stands

How Can Anyone Give This Anything Other Than 5 Stars? The thing is strong, holds everything I put on it and is very stable. What's not to like? I use it for my Aputure 300x or my Ray7r 7 300 with no problems. Not to mention the wheels, which are very smooth and click into place. A+

Pros
  • Consistent Test Results
Cons
  • Poorly Thought Out

Built to last and worth every penny.

Super quality stand that I never have to replace. it is built to last. Sturdy and all metal parts are of the highest quality. Discreet spring damping for light loads. It is excellent for professional use and is worth every penny of its low price. i want another one

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Just the right size!

Inspired by the best Tethertools photo booth set (but can't get it because of the pandemic), I ordered 4 different C stands including the Tethertools low roller. However, others were too large to fit through a standard doorway without folding. This was just the right size! The only thing I would change is to add attachment points on the weight legs.

Pros
  • handy
Cons
  • weak

I like it! on Lighting

I got this for a DIY project to make a portable stand for a piece of hardwood and two acoustic blankets and for this I needed a very strong stand on wheels. I've never bought anything like this, I've always used the usual thin coasters. I've also never paid $125 for a light stand, but it's worth it. Looks amazing - seems like I could climb on it and it would hold me so tight. There is also no assembly required upon delivery, with the exception of thread gear assembly which took a minute and…

INCREDIBLE Solid on Lighting & Studio

When I first opened the package I was surprised at how big it was. As I then screwed the casters onto it and lowered the legs into place (hearing a strong locking noise), I quickly realized that in all the 15+ years of professional photography I've done, I've never been this strong and durable coasters! When I tell you this thing is RELIABLE, it really is! While I will primarily be using it as a mainstay at events, weddings and flash portraits, its rock solid construction means it can also be…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Very expensive

That's it! :) - Lighting and studio

I'm new to such a stand. That's great! Very well built and heavy. 1st thing. new in it. The stand comes sealed in a bag and the casters are sealed separately. No instructions. Open all content once. I had to figure out how to lift my legs up. They don't open individually. After unlocking the spring pins, make all 3 pins. Then the legs fold up like an umbrella. collect wheels. It is great! The wheels are threaded. You will need an open-end wrench to tighten the leg rolls. After that, get to…

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Can be retrofitted

I take it back. I gave a good review when I first bought and used this stand, but a few months later I went to a photoshoot with a 1500w tungsten lamp stand and the damn thing exploded with a spring. The loaded mechanism built into the stand shatters into pieces! Very dangerous! I then called Revain to see if I could have it repaired locally and was told to send it back or get a refund. I had to buy duct tape, a special box, and spend valuable time wrapping and shipping this piece of shit…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
