Problem with remote management!

A little late, but better late than never. however, might be for you if like me you want to access the device remotely to manage settings (I have a static IP and the firmware is up to date) etc. then this device is NOT a place for you I have already enabled the settings to enable remote management, but the device only allows remote management ONCE, after that you cannot access the device remotely or locally until you restart the device. The device won't turn off and I can still connect to myโ€ฆ

Netgear N300 Wireless Router with ADSL2+ Modem (DGN2200) Seller: Deals On Wheels

Finally found a modem/wireless router to replace my AT&T 2Wire 2701HG-B router wireless Gateway DSL router modem. At first glance, the $70 NETGEAR N300 Wireless ADSL2+ Modem Router (DGN2200) easily replaces an AT&T modem/wireless router. That said, isn't the intermittent internet outage I've been experiencing with two AT&T modems/wireless routers an AT&T server issue? While I leave the AT&T modem/wireless router as a replacement, the Netgear N300 hardware is dropped with its power supply andโ€ฆ

Robust hybrid solution

I bought this in 2011 and use it all the time still. The range seems to be sufficient. I haven't tested its limits, but I've never had an issue with signal loss in my home. The case gets really hot, which still bothers me, but didn't do anything. The biggest complaint I had was that the firmware is a bit problematic and there don't seem to be any custom firmware solutions. For most people, however, it doesn't matter. Overall, this is a good choice if you need a hybrid wireless-N router and DSLโ€ฆ

Netgear still

I've always had a Nethir router. Recently my dgn3500 (modem part died) so I decided to buy a DGN2200v4 to keep and have as a backup until I buy a D6200. Okay everything was working fine until I was able to change the idle timeout from the default 5 to 0. I keep getting kicked out of the internet and have to reboot my router. I tried Netgear chat twice to see why I couldn't change it. I lost connection twice again while chatting with Netgear and had to restart. To be honest, Netgear tech support
