However, very nice people with whom you like to do.

Bought at their suggestion after Netgear 770S failed to log in. Living in a very rural area, I didn't get past 2 bars for the expected signal. I had the opportunity to take him to Tampa. He updated the software and got 3 bars! Unfortunately, download speeds of around 5MB, which is the minimum required for video streaming, weren't possible. I brought it home, hooked it up to the Wagi antenna and downloaded 5.04MB. Once. It just didn't hold a stable signal. These people did their best to help me.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Minor issues

Technology Challenged

Initially I had trouble connecting to the internet access point. I kept turning the damn thing on and off but to no avail. Troubleshooting online and calling an AT&T rep didn't do much either. I ended up going to my local AT&T store for help and was back 60 seconds later with the fully working device (and my stupid red face). Turns out I didn't hold my finger on the power button long enough for the device to start up. I thought the device was on when the screen lit up. Not so. You have to hold…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • No form required

Random reboots, frustrating crap.

Haven't had any issues with it other than the occasional restart. Sometimes it works for hours and other times it restarts over and over again. The AT&T store replaced the SIM card and I'm still having the same damn problems. It hurts with this junk, I buy a Unite Explore and as soon as it gets here I smash this nonsense with a sledgehammer.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank

Internet service in case of power failure

We use it instead of Spectrum for our internet needs. That works great. I didn't have the shutdown and reboot issues that some others have mentioned. We use it for 2 laptops, 2 phones at home, Alexa, Google, TV streaming. If the power goes out, and as long as we have cellphone service, we have internet. I like it very much, especially since we live in Florida and are waiting for this hurricane right now. I can take it with me and always have internet. Keep in mind that you need to buy a SIM…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • New competitors have emerged
