    Great deal on hard indoor diving for the price!

    Works as it should! suitable for data storage

    Fast delivery, safely and securely packaged. To anyone who sees a negative review and a picture saying they received a 6GB hard drive, this is clearly false and if that person tries to investigate further or install the drive they will find, that it is actually 500 GB as ordered. The SATA 6Gb image shown means that the hard drive's data transfer rate is 6 gigabits per second or less, not that the storage capacity is 6 gigabytes. There's a huge difference.

    Exactly as described.

    Exactly as described. This is a brand new Toshiba 2.5 inch 500 GB 7200 RPM Hard Drive. It works with laptops, game consoles and almost anything that supports a 2.5" SATA hard drive. I got mine the next day via Prime and it works great. It was well packaged, perhaps a bit wasteful considering how much packaging was used.

    3 out of 5 DOAs in the internal hard drives

    If I had 5 fully working drives it would be perfect for what I needed. Everything I could read in the insert said they were new. No mention of refurbishment or refurbishment, OEM drives only. In 4 hours out of 5, 3 hard drives that came on the server in a RAID configuration failed. The first hard drive failed, I sent it in the same morning and received a replacement 2 days later. But after I returned home and continued to work, 2 more hard drives failed. At that point I needed a server ready to

    Warranty support not available

    I used this drive part-time for less than 10 months before it completely failed and was no longer recognized by the host computer. Tests showed that the drive was defective, not the machine. Request a warranty replacement under a two-year warranty. I've done this with other record manufacturers with no problems. The problem is that they are REQUIRING me to return the disk to them for analysis. This drive is now filled with sensitive data and since it is no longer recognized by the PC, I have no

    Installed on a 2010 Dell XPS 1340

    I installed this hard drive on a 2010 Dell XPS 1340. It fit and fit perfectly. Looks very similar to the original which was a Hitachi that failed so this hard drive upgraded my laptop from 360GB to 500GB. I booted Linux Mint 19.3 on it with no problems and it still works great. The price was great and it works well. Highly recommended.

    Better than my original

    My original drive (same model but older) never showed any noticeable errors, but my laptop was slowing down and showing too much drive activity even when idle. I installed this drive and my laptop started working like new. It may have newer firmware and be more compatible with the latest security updates for the Meltdown bug. Or maybe my original had an unrecognizable problem. In any case, this drive was a very cheap repair and stayed in good condition for at least 7 months. No complaints.

    Excellent hard drive replacement for Lenovo T440 Thinkpad

    My hard drive on my Lenovo T440 Thinkpad broke and I was struggling to find a replacement. I saw this one at Revain for a great price with a 2 year warranty. The drive was delivered quickly and was easy to partition/format and install a backup drive image. As a side note, I recommend you buy some kind of disk imaging software so you can back up the OS and files. Having the disk image was instrumental in getting my system up and running again.
