Rotten, wet and smelly

Received my birdseed quickly. The product wasn't what I expected. It's wet and dirty and smells like something awful and I don't feel comfortable feeding my poor bird it. To make matters worse, there is no way to get a refund for a product that wasn't delivered fresh. I am very disappointed as this is not a cheap bag of groceries. I wish I could get my money back.

My pink breasted cockatoo loves it!

My Galah Emma loves to crumble. I have been feeding her this brand/crumb since she was a baby and she is now 25 years old. She didn't seem to mind changing the formula to include green alfalfa. For me it's more economical to use crumbs as Emma enjoys participating in the daily food toss. This food makes her happy. If you have a cockatoo, you know how important it is to keep them happy - Ha!

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Weight

My two cockatiels, two parrots and conure aren't big fans of roudybush, but they eat it and it's really good for them. Our vet urged us to switch them from seed mixes to Roudybush and said they would resist the switch but stick with it and eat it, which they did. Now they only get the seed mix as a treat, not as a daily meal and in a separate bowl, otherwise they'll burrow through the roadside bush or toss it out of the bowl in search of non-nutritious, high-fat seeds.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Only available in black

To stay updated. My bird cage got infected after using this feed

This is for seller's item. I've been using this brand for years and it's amazing. But I usually buy it in small packages at local pet stores. I found this pack on Revain and decided to give it a try. Birds love it BUT there is one big problem with this particular purchase. My bird cage was infested with mosquitoes and over the next few days I started using the food even though I keep it in the freezer but the problem still persists. I had a problem until I switched my food. I will never buy…

Great for cockatiels and parrots!

We have 2 birds - a cockatiel and a parrot - who are best friends and share a cage and their food and water bowls, so we have tried to find food that works for both of them. . Roudybush Daily Maintenance Crumbs are a complete daily diet and both seem to work well with this food. There is almost no waste like seeds, so this is another reason to try this food. Birds need variety so we add something different from time to time but that is the staple of their diet and they appear to be healthier…

Big ol' bag of bird seed

My birds definitely like this food and it's a higher quality pelleted bird seed (Harrison is probably the best). My budgie and two parrots are very receptive to this and love sprinkling extra bits all over the base to let me know they appreciate its flavor and texture. I just wish it was in smaller bags as that large bag size for pellets this size means you either have a bunch of tiny birds that can eat it up relatively quickly or it's going to take you months to get over it. pack, then you…

Fake Rudybush, adds FATS to kill your bird

I've been feeding this to my Thiel for over a month and I've had an all white Thiel before they eat real rooibos turns out that what too whatever it is, vegetable oil and all sorts of junk are present. One screenshot in this review shows Revain's ingredient list, the other is straight from Petsmart's list for the Roudybusch Crumbs. A clear difference in ingredients and quality. If you look at the bags, the bags even look different. Just buy Roudybush at a pet store, which is much more reliable…

Too big for canaries and small softbills

Roudybush "Crumbs" is definitely NOT suitable for canaries and 3" birds (finches), despite advertising and labeling to the contrary. In fact, I wouldn't recommend this size for parrots or any other Recommend birds smaller than cockatiels or lovebirds, on the other hand "Nibles" is about the right size for canaries and since they can eat anything I had no problem getting them to try Rudibushi, even with alternative foods was available (I suppose they like the taste), although they don't.I don't…

My birds love it! on Food

I've been using Roudybush Daily Maintenance Pellets for years, ever since my cockatiel. The conversion was a bit difficult, but with perseverance we succeeded. I now have 2 lovebirds, one of whom was a seed junkie (the other hated seed and loved rowdybush). To turn my female lovebird into pellets, I used the old method of having another bird teach her how to eat them and adding the pellets to homemade bird bread. Now both are optimistic about new products. You get fresh fruit and vegetables…
