I know pillows are very personal, but they're not for me. They feel like a single, fairly elastic block of some sort of fiber and aren't pliable at all. They are not lumpy, they can be crushed but not fluffed up. They might be enough to support my back while reading in bed, but I can't rest my head on them.

These pillows are good enough for a guest room but I wouldn't use them every night or as a main pillow (they look the part too for support pads behind the main pad for watching TV, etc.). It's good if they come together because if you use them separately you'll almost need two as they smooth out quite a bit. I'd say it's only mediocre, but just in case if only spares. It's also personal preference - while I like memory foam, some people like the cheaper, flatter type.

This is a set of two standard bed pillows. They aren't shrink-wrapped when they arrive and they don't have any weird smells or anything like that. These are your basic fiber filled pillows that are neither too flat nor too full. Pretty nice pillow in the middle of the road, suitable as an extra pillow, imitation pillow or guest room.
