True SFX Computer Components

The True SFX form factor is smaller than expected. In terms of performance and efficiency, this is a very compact power supply, exactly what I was looking for. The cable length is strange, EPS 12V is very long, but 24-pin ATX is relatively short. I've had it running for a week and a half now with no issues, although I'm currently using it at half max power. . In the next week or two I will be upgrading my computer with other performance-hungry components. I like that it doesn't have theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Rugged Construction
Cons
  • Boring Packaging

Efficient and compact, but noisy and with robust cables.

Corsair SF750 was the power supply I was originally hoping to get but as it was sold out everywhere or ridiculously expensive due to low supply I bought this unit from Silverstone instead. Like all SFX and Platinum power supplies they are beautiful, compact and very efficient. So if you're looking for something purely functional to get the job done, fine. However, the fan on it is unbearably loud on my silent system. When I was setting up my system the other day, I thought my CPU or GPU fansโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • No paint required

This is my first SFX power supply, a platinum rated power supply thanks to the major power supply shortage of 2020. Surprisingly small, but packs more power than almost any other SFX power supply on the market. It comes with lots of cables and the build quality is fantastic. The cables are a bit shaky because some of the 8-pin connectors aren't actually 8-pin, they are 4+4 connectors forming 8-pin, but that's only because the entire block is modular. Some of them come with additionalโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Useless features

The power supply is ok, I'll take care of the cables.

In my first small form factor build using this PSU and NR200P. The cables are incredibly stiff compared to any other PSU I've used. Also, they're essentially "flat" in the old style, and not like other power supplies where the bundled modular cables are typically braided or braided (or both). Some of the modular cable configuration options are amazing. For example, I need a separate SATA power connector for the all-in-one I'm using. But for some reason this "SFF" power supply comes with twoโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • No mold required
