Rear plastic, no metal

Rear plastic, no metal. If you are looking for an all-metal body, this option is not for you. There is no description of it on the Amazon site or on the Tripplight site.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Almost OK

Great socket for household appliances

Great socket for your household appliances. I use it in the kitchen for the coffee pot, blender, toaster and streamer. This allows me to keep them connected to the network. I don't use them all at once, but I can use a few of them together without having to open an outlet.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Everything is fine

does his job. The back is plastic, not metal.

Works as it should. Only the back of the surge protector is not made of metal but of plastic. Surprise. FYI if you want an all metal body.

Tripp Lite surge protector with 6 outlets and metal housing

Very good surge protector with metal housing and switch. This made it possible to reboot the router and modem at the same time. I have always used Tripp Lite as a surge protector, they have never let me down. I am assuming that this will also work properly. Has a strong cord long enough to get where I needed it and I am very happy with this purchase.

Pros
  • Easy to use

  • Hard to say

Built like a tank! Best Power Strips & Surge Protectors

Now you have three appliances and I will definitely be buying more to replace all the plastic appliances around the house. The best features are the all-metal body and two indicators that tell you when the band is on and if the protection is working. You don't have to worry about stepping on them and breaking them as they are made entirely of plastic. Both of my units are outlet extenders now blocked by huge, heavy bookshelves. The third provides additional battery backup sockets for my…

Good size and high performance

I need to buy a special surge protector/expansion for my treadmill; This met all the requirements from the instructions for the treadmill. So far, so good; There are no problems with the power supply of the treadmill. My switch suddenly stumbled when I was using it and I walked quickly; The treadmill didn't just stop, it kept slowing down and then stopped, so I think that's why it needed a special surge protector. Hopefully if it happens again I can still slow down and not fly away.

Pros
  • Heavy duty
Cons
  • Expensive

Ideal for add-on parts

There are many surge protectors/splitters out there, but most don't have an easy way to install them. I built an entertainment center and added two of these surge protectors to the back giving me outlets on either side. Here's an easy way to get this working. Make a copy of the back of the surge protector to create a template for the holes. Use an awl or ice pick to mark the spots. The #6 pan head screw is ideal for the slots. Screw it in, leaving about ¼ inch out. Place the holes over the…
