My old surge protector provided more power but higher amperage. This one delivers a trickle of power, but better. Having something running at the same time will drain my phone's battery. I had to plug my phone right into the wall.

It's hard to get totally excited about the surge protection strap, but I think it does the job. I'm honestly not aware of any power surges in the past few days, but other than the facts I'm satisfied. I needed a long cable, this was it, and that's it. Nothing more to say.
