My daughter loves this; very soft and fun to create. I wanted the containers so that I didn't have to bother with bags. We had one container that had a broken lid so a small portion of the clay was dried but otherwise good. I think the tools are helpful for any kit you buy, but the booklet was a little pointless (not really step by step and it just leaves you disappointed ha). But just let the kids be creative.
