Ardor, The Parent-child Chain Architecture

The Ardor is a project which I have never heard of until now, when the Revain platform made it amongst the projects of the week. I am happy to know about this project as it is a promising one. It is a project that is developed by Jelurida (based in Swiss), a company that is known to develop great companies. It was founded in the year 2018 and is secured by the Hierarchy established in the parent chain. It works on the Proof of Stake (PoS) algorithm which helps in making it independent of hardware. It is an architecture of the Blockchain-as-a-Service (BaaS).
My first experience with this project was not too blissful as their user interface is a bit hard to understand and less friendly. I also discovered that aside the Android application I was using, the platform has its application available on the Windows, Linux and Mac operating systems, it also has its user interface translated in multiple languages which includes: English, Spanish, Chinese and Korean, making it's services available to citizens across the globe. The Ardor is a multichain blockchain platform with a unique parent-child chain architecture. The child chain architecture is the following characteristics:
1. Each of them has their specific tokens used for making purchases.
2. Unnecessary child chains data are removed to ensure scalability and avoid bloating.
3. They are all connected by sharing the same source code.
Each child chain is related to the main chain and requires verification from it.
The Ardor project has its own token which can be purchased on exchange platforms like Binance and Huobi global.

It is no doubt at all that all a Project with potential needs is time to show its potential. This seems to be just the case of the Ardor project.
Sometime last year, 7th oof November precisely (all thanks to the Revain platform for helping us keep our records😁), I published a review on the Ardor project. In that review, I said little about how promising the Project was, this was because I never saw it clearly, although I was feeling a niche about its success, all I did was to give the overview of the project, give my personal experience with them and ended my review with the things I disliked about the project. Today, I'm here again to talk about the same Ardor project, but this time around, seeing it as one of the fastest growing projects I have ever come across. One of the reasons why I thought I couldn't really say much about the project the last time I published a review about it was because I wasn't as experienced as I am now. Coupled with my little expertise and personal experience with this project all over again, I'm quite sure you would enjoy this review, only if you read it to the end.
I don't think it is necessary to start with the history of this project as I had done that earlier, in my main review (as this is just an update to it). But for the sake of remembrance, I would be giving a brief into about this project. The Ardor project is a product of Jelurida. All things proves it, including the fact that the URL of their website has the word "Jelurida" in it. The Ardor project was founded for the sole purpose of Parenting little projects on the blockchain network. This parenting would help these projects start up in a better way, better than they would if left all alone. The Ardor project is also meant to solve other problem a new project might encounter, one of which is having their own token, marketing it, and other stuffs. The project started off good in the year 2018 and has ever since continued to do what it has started up until now.
I first got to know about this project when the Revain platform made it one of the companies of the week few months back, and for the sake of the rewards I would earn and to learn new things, I participated (can't really remember if I actually won 😂). I then made extensive research on the project but dwelled on my personal experience with it majorly. Today, I would be summing-up both my personal experience and the results gotten from the research I conducted.
Starting off with some of the things I never liked about the Ardor project as at the time I published my review (November 2020). The first things I talked about was the fact that their platform token was undervalued. As at the time I wrote the review, the Ardor platform token had a value of just $0.05 which I thought to be really undervalued. It was actually, and I guess the reason was because they were yet to show the world what they have to offer. Now that they have been given the chance by some little projects and have proved themselves worthy, the value of their token had no other option but to rise. As at the time of writing this review, the Ardor native token is worth $0.13 on CoinMarketCap and $0.145 on CoinGecko. Predictions has it that the token might get to one dollar before the end of the year. This is a very great improvement and that's why I had to give the project a five-star rating in this updated review (as the reason why I gave the project 4 stars earlier was because I wasn't comfortable with their tokens value but now that I am, I have no other choice but to give them all).
Another thing I clearly didn't like was their user interface. I didn't put this among the Cons mainly because I thought it wasn't something that affected everyone but just myself and people like me. This is because I found their user interface quite difficult to go through. The reason, I guess, was because I wasn't too exposed to the Blockchain network then but now that I've had some little experience, I find their interface quite good. Honestly, there have barely been a change in the interface but I've gotten to understand haven gone through quite a lot of interfaces.
Another thing I wasn't too comfortable about as at the time of publishing the review first was the fact that they had little companies which they have offered their support to. Although I never mentioned this in the review, I had that feeling. As of today, the Ardor project has been able to sponsor quite a lot of projects some of which includes IGNIS, Bitswift, and Triffic. There are some other child chains out there, as this are not the only one they have.
The Ardor project seems to have improved a lot within the space of less than a year (as my first review was published in the month of November and I'm getting this one done in June). It's growth cannot, and should not be questioned as they have been showing the signs right from the on-set. With these, I guess I would have to bring my updated review about the Ardor project to an end. Bye ☺️

Pros
  • Built on the PoS algorithm
  • Highly secured platform
  • Has its applications available on both desktops and mobile devices
  • Has it's interface in various languages
Cons
  • Not minding how useful the project can be, it still has a very low market value (of about $0.05 as at the time of writing this review)
