Review on Refilit Maximum Strength Filling Material by Todd Casey

Saved me hundreds but please know this is temporary.

I just chipped half a molar while brushing my teeth and I'm starting to worry that I won't have dental insurance for a week or two when I start my new job on welfare. I bought it and it was delivered the next day. It's like clay or very sticky goo. I believe it needs to be placed in the tooth to replace a lost filling because the instructions say to form it into a ball and bite it in place, but for myself I have something of a flat oval made and put it around my broken tooth and it lasted very well for the first day. I do my best to chew with the other side of my mouth, but having this in place gives me peace of mind that if any food particles are floating there, they can't get into my broken tooth at all. Those who say they fall out or crumble are no doubt trying to chew and eat food with their teeth to which they are attached, and you just can't. This is temporary until you see a dentist. This product really saved me. I had a really serious emergency which I thought would be very expensive without insurance, but I can safely say that I personally feel this product will protect my tooth for a week or two until my insurance grips, and I can leave it to a professional.

Pros
  • For expendable fillings only.
Cons
