Worked for half a day

This part was proactively replaced with a 2002 BMW 325i with 180,000 miles. Once ridden on the car, the car drove a total of approximately ten miles and stopped/started approximately six times. Everything worked fine. The next day, the car drove five miles and stopped to shop for groceries. Then the car wouldn't start. After a few tries, the car started but died. Eventually the car started and drove the five miles home. The part was exchanged for the original and works perfectly.
