🚗 2007-2016 Jeep Wrangler 2 Door: Durable Entry Guards for Enhanced Protection Review

Good OEM product from Mopar that provides extra security for front doors. Very easy to install, evn comes with an alcohol pad for surface preparation. I have a feeling they will hold up great as the quality and fit are exactly how I want them to be.

Great product. Serves its purpose. It would be 5 stars. But I think the product has been in use. Came fully taped, no protective tape between blocks. Used a heat gun to peel them off myself and it worked. The return is too complicated for me. I had to install them before going off-road.

Installation is too quick and easy. When I first ordered it was a few weeks past the delivery date so they expedited me a new one. They match the side steps my JK had and have Jeep written on them to make them look very natural. Only visible when the doors are open and is intended to prevent damage to the paintwork.

Exactly what I expected. Easy to install on my 2015 2dr JK. They came in a sealed Mopar box, in a different shipping box. Notice how the end of the molding that faces the rear of the Jeep touches the existing plastic on the door frame? As long as they are in contact, it is installed correctly. You don't need a break. I've circled what I mean in red on one of my photos.

I installed it the same day I received it, it's very simple. On the back they have a dense adhesive that needs to be removed and inserted. They look fantastic and are the same ones you can get from the factory but you don't have to pay the dealer $70+. Only time will tell if the adhesive is strong enough to withstand abuse, but it looks like it will. I will keep recommending them to everyone at our local jeep club.

I have a new 2011 Jeep Wrangler with two doors and it's high off the ground. It's quite hard not to scrape your shoes over the threshold when entering, especially my wife in heels. These thresholds are a perfect match for my 2012 Sahara. They were easy to put on and looked great! As others have said they should have been included as original equipment when I bought the jeep and they look like they are GENUINE. It's amazing that you just brush them, peel them and stick them on the sill and they stay right where you put them.
