If you need to compress the spring.

Much better than those with box ends that have pins that get stuck and bend. These ends are great with two contoured hook ends and good flexibility. After that, they just don't bend anymore.

NOT FOR MOTORCYCLES!

I read the reviews before buying and some said it would work for motorcycles. I'm here to tell you that this absolutely does NOT work for motorcycles! It was a waste of money!

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Nothing here

Bad springs - look elsewhere

For the price I paid it wasn't worth it. Well, I'm glad I tried at least this one. USE ONLY ONCE! I decided to replace the suspension components as the shock absorbers have deteriorated. The spring was compressed but when I reinstalled them they didn't hold up very well. BEWARE OF THIS PRODUCT!

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Reliability

Best price, great product!

Best value for money! Even cheaper than freight forwarding! There is nothing special about them and they do their job perfectly! They are big enough to make truck springs and small enough to make small cars. Other compressors with "safety features" are just publicity stunts. I have no doubts to buy them and will use them in the future!

Pros
  • Great for me

works great with steering and suspension tools

I used these to replace springs on 4 struts. Worked great even though I could only use one of the two teeth on either end. Otherwise, the device will interfere with removing or inserting a new rack, let alone compressing. But it works great with just one tooth on each end. You just have to be careful. I used an impact wrench for compression. Alternate between the two screws frequently to avoid pushing too hard on one side to keep the other from falling off. It worked like a charm and saved me a

A few rough edges but they do the job - even on motorcycle shock absorbers

They are well built and strong - will compress most springs with no problem. I need them to work with motorcycle shock absorbers and I was a little doubtful they could work, but they did. Motorcycle shock absorbers are obviously too small in diameter to use both lugs on these superchargers. However, you really need to use a tail to get the job done. I added one on each side of the shock and fed a solid steel shaft through the shock's bottom bracket to catch the other end of the compressor. Went
