All fan speeds are working again!

Replace the original resistor at some point but the top speed stopped working in my 99 C5. Aside from the fact that I had to lie on my back with my head under the dash to access it, installation was pretty easy and straightforward. Now I have all the fan levels as they should be again.

Fits and works!

Installation went smoothly thanks to YouTube videos. Parts of the installation were tricky due to their location in the passenger footwell. This speed control works very well and will probably lengthen my Impala. I have no idea what Revane means by "purity". That's why I gave three stars for "cleanliness".

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Please check the item before ordering.

Resistance arrived prematurely. The price was average for the product. The installation was difficult due to the location. I'm a tall man and don't fit well in the car. Overall, the product lived up to expectations and I recommend it. I saved over $300 by making it myself and it didn't take long. Be sure to check the item before ordering. I had to order 2 different parts even though the ad said the year of manufacture.

This part is a great replacement for fan motor repair if it is the only one.

This part is a great replacement for fan motor repair when only running at high speed. It was a lot cheaper than anywhere else. The only downside (which has nothing to do with a spare part) is that it costs a lot of money to install. I installed one in a 2005 Buick Century and one in a 2002 Buick Century. To get there, you need to lie on your back in the passenger seat with your head on the floorboard. It is located under the dashboard next to the bulkhead on the passenger side.

Pros
  • Free for educational use
Cons
  • Expensive

I didn't even know it existed when my fan was running. Glad you found out. As a result, the entire fan system was repaired and improved. ACDelco has upgraded the original and it shows. The system is much more responsive and fluid. It seems almost quieter, but stronger. I put some new grease on my old fan (was in good condition) and it runs like new. If your fan stops working at one or two speeds at the same time. That will fix it. Great quality and saved me from a shop repair.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Socket required

Met expectations and more.

My problem is that my high settings were the only ones that worked on my 2000 Buick Century. After doing some research I found that this was the root cause of the problem, I replaced it with this product and now all my fan settings are working. The high setting blows even harder than before. I will add that for my car the installation was easy. However, due to the narrowness, having to remove screws to move things was an issue. All in all very easy to do, no mechanic has to charge you hundreds…

  • One Year Trial

Works great, like new! The vents only worked at max speed (5) or nothing at all, all other speeds were dead. Now it's working fine again! However, this is the biggest pain in the butt that has ever had to be replaced. I replaced one of these on my wife's Honda van and it was a minor issue. On the passenger side you have to twist your body, the flashlight doesn't stay in place to see what you're doing etc etc etc I don't normally have complaints about working on Chevy 3800s like Impalas etc but…

Perfect fit, works as advertised

If your fan loses a few RPMs over time then it's most likely to blame. Eventually you lose all speeds except HIGH and OFF (yes, OFF is speed). This resistor pack resides in the fan case and probably keeps it cool when the fan is running, but it can fail over time. Last time my AC drain was clogged and water got into the fan housing which shorted out the resistor pack. Attention: very difficult to access! Slide the passenger seat all the way back. I actually do it upside down with my head on the

Works perfectly! in Fan Motors

First of all I would like to say that I bought this product to solve the problem of my fan motor not turning off even when the key is removed. The fan motor just kept running. Most of the reviews here say they bought this part to restore lost speed settings and it took a lot of searching on the web to make sure the problem was in the resistance (some sites call it a regulator, causing confusion led). ). When in doubt, remember that 0 or "Off" has the same speed as 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5. It arrived…
