As I use it during SIP and WFH I don't wear shoes . It's comfortable and I love how you can massage your legs around the edges. The only minor issue I had is that the "fullness" of the gum doesn't seem to be even. Some parts appear a bit emptier than other parts. I hope this defect will not shorten its lifespan. The only suggestion I can make is maybe provide some stickers to stick on the bottom to avoid sliding on the hardwood floor.

The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because I ordered a gray rug and got a black one. Otherwise, it's just the right amount of cushioning, and topographical features work well for me without getting in the way. As an unexpected bonus, the polyurethane slides very easily over the glass chair but doesn't move at all when you stand on it. I often sit/stand all day so I don't have to bend down and move the mat when I change positions.

I wore the surface of a much lighter anti-fatigue mat I found at my workplace in the office. It looked awful, so bad that I decided to buy it myself and got exactly what I wanted. But I didn't want a big, flexible mat or a small pillow that didn't have room to move. And I missed the leg bar from my old specialty bar table.
