This scraper is great. The long handle allows for throwing snow off the roof (as required in my state) and also provides leverage for scraping ice. It's also durable for a plastic brush. It seems to me that it will last for many winters.

Whoever designed this scraper has clearly never shoveled snow off a car before. The wide end of the scraper is angled in the same direction as the brush, so two scenarios come into play. 1) When you're shoveling snow off a car, there's a broad, very sharp scraper stuck in your wrist! 2) The other pointed end is as wide as a brush, so you can run it over your car's paintwork very easily. Strange! Buy something else!

This product deserves high ratings. The scraper blade is sharp and strong, so it takes some time to get covered with ice and doesn't work well. The brush is strong and the scraper can be used with the brush attached for long reach, but I find the handle more comfortable when they are separate. The only possible problem I see is left handed and left handed as they connect. If you are left handed the scraper poisons inside and may rub against my arm or coat when assembled and using the brush. The long broom was the main reason for buying it, as was the fact that it breaks easily and fits in a storage bag. It's easily worth getting the snow off the roof for that. However, the functionality of the ice scraper is woefully lacking. If you don't hold the ice scraper directly by the neck, it will have trouble removing the ice. I just got a chance to use it after 2.5 feet of snow fell in Boulder, Colorado. It's awesome! The brush swept away the snow with ease, and the scraper handled any ice with ease. I was shocked how quickly it worked! I've had no issues with the brush bristles being "too rough" (yes, don't use it on your face. Update: The company was kind enough to send me a replacement unit and refund my money. This new one scratches significantly better than the first one they sent me. The plastic blade is much softer and removes most of the frost in one stroke. Having had a chance to use it now, I found a few more design flaws. When I'm scratching with two hands, I put my left hand on the handle (near the blade) and my right hand on my back. Unfortunately, the brush on the right makes it difficult to grip. But…
