I am very dissatisfied with these locks. We have these locks to lock our rooftop cargo hold for the trip we were planning to take. After one day of our trip we had to get into the truck, we tried to open the locks but it didn't work! We tried for at least an hour, taking turns rattling the lock, trying to open it, eventually my husband had to go to the house store and get bolt cutters so we could remove this lock from our carrier.

I didn't expect much from the security of these locks considering the price. I assumed they would be easy to pick (which I tested) but these locks are embarrassing. 2 of the 3 locks I received can be opened without a key. Literally. I can use anything to turn the lock and it opens. This is unforgivable and offers no real security. So if you want them for decoration, they're fine. If you want them to even act as a semi-functional lock, look elsewhere.

I am disappointed in the quality of this item and I want to read the reviews carefully before purchasing. 1 lock out of 3 is completely broken as the keys provided won't even unlock it. I even tried all 6 keys to make sure they weren't accidentally attached to the wrong lock. Also, only one of the two keys will work on the other lock, and then only after it has been broken. The brass was also tarnished on two of the locks. All in all these locks are cheap and I wouldn't recommend it

The product sales page shows an image of 3 locks in a box wrapped in shrink wrap. This means that all locks have the same keys. Other reviewers state that they received a package containing all three locks with the same keys. The fact that the locks have the same keys was the reason I bought this item. I got these to keep my artist cat from escaping her softsider. She could open the zippers. Rolling ties were only a temporary solution. They received their first test at both carrier entrances today since we did our semi-annual vet trip. While they're a little tricky to use when trying to get out, she can't see the zippers once the locks are in place, so I'm happy with them. DO NOT buy these padlocks! You are nothing but a disaster. I bought these locks to give my small backpack a little security when traveling around Europe and they have been nothing but trouble. I ended up not using them at all because they broke. From the moment I opened the package the locks became unpickable as the keys are attached to each lock and all locks have different keys so you have to use the mini keys provided to open the locks.
