Description of Vehpro Solar Panel Charge Controller MPPT 40A-100A 12V/24V Auto Tracking with Dual USB Ports (100A)

✔️ --- NOTE: The regulator is only suitable for lead acid batteries: OPEN, AGM, GEL. It is NOT suited for nickel metal hydride, lithium ions or other batteries. ✔️ --- MPPT solar charge controller MPPT10-60: Compared with normal solar charge controller, this MPPT controller could increase efficiency by 10%-30%. ✔️ --- When the battery voltage is low, the controller will automatically cut off the load from the system. If the voltage of battery is back to normal and the load will restart working. ✔️ --- This MPPT controller has perfect SOC function, control charge current, and supply power to the loads.Prevent the battery from over-charging , over-discharging and reverse charging to solar panels during nights. ✔️ --- Any problem please contact with us , we will try our best to solve your problem and make you satisfied within 24 hours.

This unit was made cheaply when it came with no heatsink and smaller connectors for 100A capacity. I will not install it in my solar system for fear of damaging other components. The return attempt was unsuccessful.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Hard to say

This product is a lie

As flawed and misperforming as any other Chinese junk. It can't be 100A as you can't plug a cable into ports rated for that current, let alone the internal circuitry can handle it. You meant maybe 100W at 12V. Also, I've noticed that the controls sometimes become unresponsive.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons

Poor quality and very poor customer service

Poor quality and very poor customer service. Got this as a backup for my old charge controller, this thing never worked after installing it, didn't even turn on, just a little voltage going through the unit. My solar module and my small pump have been checked for proper function and perfect condition. If you look at the circuit board you can see how bad and cheap this thing is. I would strongly advise buyers to stay away from learning from my experience and not wasting their money or time.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Faulty

Don't buy this from Generators & Portable Power Supplies

Not - repeat - DO NOT buy this unit. For no reason; even if your mother's life depends on it. First, the wires/cables don't stay in place. Even with the screws tightened, the wires/cables will fall out at the slightest tension. Second, the so-called user manual is not good. It tells you how to switch between different ads, but doesn't really explain what they mean. Apparently it was originally written in Chinese and translated by some Chinese who only got an B in English. My battery shows…

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Not 100 AMP and not MPPT

Ok, the instructions are confusing and not useful. The clamps are only for max. 12 ga or 20 AMP. PWM controller, not MPPT. Therefore, the panels and the battery must have the same voltage. Panels 12V (18V) battery 12 (12.6V). Aside from that, it should cost $15 and PWM. It is not UL and must be kept in a dry case. After two weeks I can't say it has battery overcharge protection. If you have one, here is how you need to connect it. The panel is designed for solar panels. Please install a fuse…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Little things

It was ONE! Flicker-free lighting!

I have a box of my last 4 charge controllers, I added a 5th the day this one came out. All five are PWM charge controllers, and they barely do their job. I have a 55w solar array powering two 35ah 12v deep cycle batteries from about 10 years ago that started out as experimental and worked so well I never took it off. Previously, the batteries ran out in two weeks in cloudy weather. Now they are constantly replenished even during longer cloudy periods. It seems that no matter how often I use the
