I've been using the BEDRUG tailgate mat for over a year now. I carry rocks, mud, hay, furniture, etc. It attaches with velcro so I didn't have to drill holes in the tailgate. The carpet does not move and is removed with a vacuum cleaner. I only bought it because I couldn't find a regular tailgate mat for my new Colorado. Now I know what I was missing. I will never go back to regular rugs.

fits well, installs quickly, 10 minutes. Some of the velcro goes onto the back cover plastic, I used the primer that came with the plastic to ensure good adhesion. looks good and protects your truck from scuffs, things slide over it pretty easily. The weather for you probably depends on what you can tow. I have a proper bed mat, but I don't plan on lugging a load of loose gravel, which is why they make full hard plastic liners. So for average use, it's good stuff.

Great mat, easy on knees when climbing back door. Two stars deducted for the lousy instructions and the velcro that doesn't stick well to the surface of the spray in the liner at all. I don't know how it would work other than sticking to plain painted metal. I followed the directions and sanded/sanded the contact area before gluing the velcro on and it still comes off when I try to remove it. I haven't had to take it off completely yet, but I'm pretty sure I'll need to replace the velcro when I

Until recently I've never had a spray truck with a bed. I liked the non slip surface but it was very hard on the knees. I do a lot of craft shows with my soy candles, stained glass and wood saws, and I get in and out of the back of a truck, load and unload and spend a lot of time crawling on my knees to get to things.
