better than machined spring clutches

They work better than machined spring clutches because they handle misalignment better (when the shaft rotates and is slightly misaligned) and because they center the shaft better - fixing the Screwing will bind the coupling, not the shaft (usually the set screws will push the shaft slightly to one side or the other since they are in contact with the shaft itself - this can also create small indentations in the shaft where the set screws bite). not bad!

That's great! Much better than the competition.

For some reason, flexible connectors that are machined from a solid piece of aluminum tend to shift in both the X and Y directions on my homemade CNC machine same result. With 6 hours of work, it's the easiest thread to break and ruin my work. As you can see from the photo and the crack shown, one has to wonder what material is used for the mill and who came from that material. However since I switched to this 3 part design I've been working fine with no issues or crashes in the middle! Thanks…

Not so good at couplers, cuffs and universal connectors

Pulling apart, there's really nothing holding them together. I installed them and shortly after, my printer started making strange noises. Looks like a door hinge that needs oiling. It took several hours to find the source. It turns out that a piece of hard rubber or something between two pieces of metal makes noise. It sounded really awful, like my printer was going to fall apart at any moment. The lead screw(s) Z oscillate like the Eiffel Tower. Thought my screws were lost, hello, hello. So I
