Much better than expected

Really good product to fix audio cable problems in studio, on stage or at home. The acquisition costs of the device are also good. The quality of the case is better than expected and the device performs well when testing different cables. This is much easier than using an ohmmeter, which I have several of. However, the instructions are crap. Written in 15 different languages, and even highlighting the English part, it's hard to understand even if you're an engineer. I was able to understand how

Great unit, very solid build, one feature gap

Bought to test cables prior to a permanent installation and to monitor our fleet of portable cables and it does the job perfectly - quickly and a simple test and many options, including methods for testing already installed cables. Read the instructions, they pretty much cover everything (e.g. resetting after plugging in cables to make sure you don't get false short reads when plugging in cables). An attempt to answer some questions with a low rating.

I read all the reviews before buying the CT200. I hope to be able to answer most of the complaints here. 1) "Does not test 1/4 TS ports". Well, it shows a short between the ring (3) and the socket (1). Yes, the green PASS indicator is off. So if the display shows a frame between 1 3 and 3 1, you know the TS cable is ok because there is no ring (3).2) "Instruction is missing".
