🚲 Whirley Bell Youth Bicycle Helmet Review

My 11 year old daughter loves the color blue and this helmet was girly enough without pink. The fit is perfect and she is about average height for an 11 year old.

Tried at least 20 times on my daughter's head and without adjusting. In the end we gave up and ordered another one. It went in the trash.

Bought this helmet for our daughter's 6th birthday and she loved it. Fit is very good. The straps are a bit tricky to adjust but as with all kids helmets that's a good thing because once adjusted they stay put and don't loosen. I would definitely recommend the Bell Edge helmet.

I got this helmet after buying a toddler bike helmet. I received it JUST BEFORE CHRISTMAS. It's a disappointment, it's too big for my little one and the colors are nasty and garish like another reviewer posted, unfortunately the helmet immediately reverts to a large and just not quite her colorway.

I recently received this helmet and the tag clearly says 8+. I wish it was in the description as my daughter is almost 6 and it may be too big. It might fit, but we won't know until Christmas morning (the last reviewer to list the size posted their review after I ordered mine, otherwise I wouldn't have bought it). The colors are really neon like she said. Also, the helmet didn't come in the box as expected, but that doesn't matter.

Although the structure of the helmet is good and protects the child's head, it does not stay on the child's head! I didn't understand why the helmet was sliding all over the place when I was in the same position as my other kids' helmets. Then I noticed that the strap on the helmet that goes around the back of the kid's head is just that. two straps! I bought this helmet for my 4.5 year old child. I wasn't sure what size it was because it wasn't listed but it looked like the kids helmets were too small for them. Based on another reviewer who said he bought it for a five year old I went ahead and bought it. When it arrived it had a prominent tag that said 'age 8+'.
