They help me a lot to walk

Very good fit. I particularly like that the strap isn't attached to the headband, but instead passes through slots on either side of the headband. While it may seem minor, I find these easier to adjust than previous knee pads I've had. Also the padding under the knee pad is better than others I've had. If I tighten the straps enough, I don't feel any uncomfortable protrusion. This means you can tighten them up and get more support.

4 stars to 5 stars for excellent customer service

So I received the straps for my left knee which I injured playing soccer. The problem was my lateral meniscus, I know the harness says nothing about this type of injury. I needed support and wanted to try. I felt good on the first set, but loosened up as I ran. The seller contacted me and sent me a replacement. My knee is definitely getting the support it needs to fully heal and I am very happy with the customer care. It may not work for your meniscus, but for the price and for my problem, it…

Two lengths of velcro!

My husband totally wore out my first pair of tendonitis knee pads while walking the entire Camino de Santiago in Spain last month so I decided to give this brand a try this time. Wow, I'm impressed! I like the "bi-directional" wrap - it's much less bulky and more even than a single wrap-around strap. Not only do you get 2 straps for a very reasonable price, you also get 2 strap lengths for each strap! This is very useful for me as I have skinny "bird legs" and most of these things are too big…

It holds my kneecap in place and does exactly what it says on the tin

This is a very simple product that does exactly what it advertises. I have an old injury, my kneecap pops and slides out and I have to put my foot in and twist and put it back in. The strap helps keep everything in a stable position so it doesn't slip off during exercise and also provides extra support. This is not an alternative to surgery and I am not a healthcare provider but I think if you have an old injury that needs extra support this is a device that will help hold everything together…

It's ok but the velcro is itchy

It seems to have done its job. That helped with exercise, but it's important for buyers to understand that this isn't a long-term solution and is only effective when worn. The velcro itches, especially when I sweat, and leaves red marks on the back of my knees. It gets a little uncomfortable on the back of my knee, but not as uncomfortable as my patellar tendinitis. The product is pretty average. What do you expect for the price. Not recommended for those who want to be very active and/or run…

Good quality, helped a lot

A few years ago I broke the upper part of my shin. After a few surgeries and a bunch of pins and straps, they put it back together. I lay on my back for about 4 months before starting weight loss and another 6 months of physical therapy. Two years later it still wobbles at times and I've found that a compression bandage helps. I've tried different varieties and recently found this one. The patella knee brace didn't help much, but the sleeve did. I have an active job and don't like to wear…

Must Have for Jumper's Knee victims

This product is a lifesaver. As an avid volleyball player, I'm constantly jumping up and down for blocks/spikes. My left knee has (apparently) suffered over the years and behaved more than usual. I did a little research and found out that I either have a jumper's knee or need a knee replacement (never fully trust WebMD). I assumed my case was the first and I was right. I've played volleyball with knee braces several times now and can confirm that my knee no longer hurts when jumping. This…

The fat man agrees - knee pads

I have patellar tendinitis or patellar tendonitis, I am also fat. I work the night shift at a warehouse where I walk about 5-8 miles a night. I have been to the doctor several times for treatment and every time I go my doctor tells me to lose weight (thanks Kaiser). I have struggled with this knee pain for many years. There are times when I can't just get in and out of a car or kneel down to pick something up. It was painful. So I finally bought this knee brace and who would have thought that…
