Not protected against kittens but has been replaced with exactly the same. Wasn't happy when the kitty did, but that's life. I've swapped before, if the kitten does it again, the kitten will get a new home and I'll swap again.

Bought for my 2 man tent. It's a little smaller, but it's preferable to have a larger base than your tent. Used it for 3 days packing back with lots of rain and the bottom of my tent stayed dry. I bought this to put under the 4 man tent Eureka Tetragon because Eureka footprints on Amazon are too expensive for a piece of plastic. It fits perfectly and can be fixed (no pegs). We camped near the beach and survived 2 thunderstorms; Our tarp kept us dry, but this trail helped retain moisture and was better than the plastic trails we've used in the past.

I have used it as a sunscreen, cloak and many other things. It's a decent thickness and feels solid, with well-stitched tongues and stitching around the edges. One side has a more waterproof/resistant coating. I didn't test it in extreme situations, but for everyday use at home it was great.
