DO NOT BUY! We bought this marker to chalk mark the wall in my office. Not only did this marker soil the surface, it died the day after we received it. Now we have our wall, permanently soiled and a piece of junk, a few marks. Update: The wall is broken. Photo 3 is wiped clean with a damp paper towel after firing and it is NOT DIFFERENT. I hate writing negative reviews but these markers didn't work at all. They completely dried up. I followed all the instructions and they were definitely broken. Fiddled with the Returning it and I needed it for an event the next day so sadly the purchase was just a waste.Used the regular white chalk I had at home and it worked great.I'm sure things like this happen and it It's not the company's fault, but if you need it for an important event, make sure you have a backup plan just in case.

Very disappointed. This is my first time using a chalk marker and I've heard they don't usually work very well. You definitely fit that description. After writing 5 words, the chalk came out harder and harder and seemed to dry out. I kept shaking to try and get the ink to the tip, but it didn't get any better.
