Amazing lip balm! - Lip care

This is a very frequent order in our company. My oldest plays the trombone. It's thick enough to perfectly combat dry lips and desert dryness. I highly recommend it. It goes on thick. This isn't what you want if you just want to layer colors. The smell is not strong and quite pleasant.

You CANNOT get better protection and healing from a horn player!

, my daughter has been playing the horn for over half her life and we are given NOTHING BUT Chop Saver as a lip balm to protect it, but IT ALSO HEALS, and very quickly - as does her Um constantly working hard being, sometimes blisters and bruises develop on the outside, inside and around the mouth of her lips because the rehearsals were ridiculous and she "puffed up" her lips. But she still has to play! CHOP SAVER is the ONLY product that actually starts to HEAL everything as soon as you apply…

Best lip balm for chapped lips

My wife suffers from dry and chapped lips all year round and worse in winter. She used many different lip balms, but once she tried Chop Saver on the recommendation of a brass player, she never used anything else.

Pleasant but not for everyone

Good lip balm, an alternative to some products that can really swell or dry out brass's lips. It has a pleasant and light citrus smell and does not leave greasy stains on chops. I used to use chop savers all the time, but lately it's been irritating my lips. I also had a student who couldn't use it because it irritated his lips. Maybe we're both sensitive to an ingredient in the mix. I know many people, musicians and other people, who use this material without any problems. Worth a try if you…

A good thing. skin care friendly

Our son played brass (tuba and trombone) in college and has been playing since high school. He has tried different products and says this is the best we have found for him.

Pros
  • There's something to it

Works as advertised

I live in interior Alaska so winters can be dry and harsh. This material contains no oil, so I can feel good about it. It also has arnica, which has healing properties, so I heal faster when I start cracking a little. It's marketed to musicians as I found it, but I highly recommend it to anyone asking for it. If you don't make your own, this is the best stuff on the market to buy.

The best lip balm ever!

I have tried every lip balm on the market and this is absolutely the best! I'm not a musician but I found this product at Revain recently and the results are amazing. My lips were chronically dry and flaky due to a side effect of the medication and nothing seemed to help, including the product I bought from my dermatologist. Chop Saver was a miracle. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Appearance

I love this lip balm but I purposely didn't want citrus so I searched until I found this one. Guess they've arrived and he's got "fresh citrus"! So not like in the photo. You have to scroll down to read the ingredients. Why do my chapped lips need citrus, you might as well rub your lips with lemon, right? I ended up opening one and if you have chapped lips DO NOT buy this one, it is not suitable for chapped lips. Will be returning the 2nd one I received.

Pros
  • finally bought
