Not the same as ordering directly from Columbia

I don't think it compares to ordering from the real Columbia website. I see other comments suggesting fakes and I think so. I order one from Revain and one online (same style, just different sizes). The one on the real page seems thicker and better quality. A bit disappointed but my son doesn't care. He really wanted red, so I ordered Revain for him.

Pros
  • Machine wash
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Nice midweight jacket for kids

Ordered this jacket for my 12 year old son. Reference: height 5 feet 8 inches, weight 115 pounds. and the children's XL fits him perfectly. In my experience Columbia runs a bit larger than other brands, which was fine in this case as my son has outgrown almost every other brand in kid sizes but the men's sizes are too big for him. He wore it on a cold autumn morning and will be able to wear it under his heavy down coat when the winter temperatures really drop. We also like that it has a hood.

Pros
  • 100% polyester

(Especially to wear under a long sleeve or semi-wobbly shirt.) It's the perfect fit and thickness to wear UNDER an all-weather jacket to add some warmth to the other jacket. This alone will in no way protect your child from feeling the wind, and if the temperature is below 50 degrees and it's windy (e.g. Midwest fall…
