Quality cooling block with a big caveat

It's a decent price for the quality and cools well, keeping my idle temp at an average of 25c and around 45c under load. This really loses a point since you need a Corsair controller to get the RGB capabilities working, which is annoying if you're not already part of the Corsair ecosystem, and since MSI is the only motherboard manufacturer that does Corsair's built-in connectors are used on some models, so it's unlikely you'll be able to get those features without spending more money.

nice RGB/ expensive controllers/ overall value for money

so far I really like this Corsair Hydro X cooling system, easy to install and looks great. The downside is that you need a controller for the RGB. for me it wasn't a very big problem. If you are purchasing Corsair ll120 or ll140 fans for a heatsink, it must come with a lighting assembly. worth the money spent now, my system looks good. Currently running i9 9900k at 5GHz with 30/40s idle and 60/70s under load, very satisfied with the cooling of this product. Btw, I read a negative comment fromโ€ฆ

Works exactly as advertised

Keeps my i9 9940 at 35-50ยฐC. Looks great with LED front panel, smooth water flow through the device without leaving water bubbles. Simply placed on the mobo. The only minor issue was using the controller which was also $70 as my computer doesn't use only Corsair products. If you don't care about the LED I would still recommend them as their cooling works well compared to other water blocks I've used. If you're using non-Corsair LED products, make sure your phone has a compatible I/O port or get
