The hood was a nice upgrade from what came 28 years ago with our double width.

I did a lot of research and looked for a replacement hood. One of the key elements that drew me to this was the 5" outlet that matched the 5" outlet that currently runs through the roof. The 5-inch flexible air duct was raised a few inches above the old hood and then lowered back onto the new one. Essentially, this part of the setup was "plug and playโ€. a little harder. A 1 1/4 inch diameter hole was drilled in the wall behind the hood to allow the plug to go through. The other two had to beโ€ฆ

Almost Perfect - Cooker Hoods

The cooker hood itself looks good and certainly lets in enough air without being particularly noisy. The front buttons feel a bit cheap/loose, but at under $90, that's not enough to complain about. My only major complaint is with the installation guide and the included hardware. The only hardware included is 4 drywall screws, but (since it's an under-cabinet cover) most people plan on installing them in the cabinet, not the drywall. Because the holes are pre-drilled, it's impossible toโ€ฆ

Nice looks, poor functionality

I give this line 3 stars. First, let me tell you why I chose this series: 1) This is one of the few series that fits my measurements of 36 inches wide and no more than 8 inches tall. I didn't want this European look to be very big. 2) It is stainless steel suitable for kitchen appliances. 3) It's under $100 to stay within my budget. Installation was easy. The device itself is surprisingly light (almost feels cheap). Only 4 screws were required for assembly. The hardest part was adding theโ€ฆ

Good enough, nothing more. Bad hardware installation. *Use bolts not screws for under cabinet installation*

For the price this item looks and works well. It's okay, the suction isn't great, but it's "good enough" to trap fat. My main cons about this unit are the way it installs under the cabinet. There are a number of issues with installation1: The power cord sits flush against the back of the device. If it is installed under the cabinets, meaning it cannot be installed flush with the wall, it must be installed forward an inch to allow the cable to route into the cabinet. 2: For under cabinetโ€ฆ
