My Box Guard also came without instructions. But if you've got half a brain, you can figure out how to put it together pretty easily. Yeah, it's not the coolest thing in the world, and the extra $5 hardware won't have a problem buffing this villain. If you want the lid to be waterproof I would recommend covering it with foam. Overall I am very happy with my purchase.

I really like the storage box, very easy to assemble. After reading some reviews I hesitated to buy it. There were many reviews stating that the guide was not complete enough and difficult to put together. think again None of that applied to me. I don't use it to protect packages, I just wanted something to store my patio cushions and it worked perfectly for me. I would buy again if I had to.

I think this is one of the worst purchases I have ever made! The instructions were terrible, not that I couldn't understand them. Holes to run or are meant to be pre-drilled. You are not! So I can't complete this until I drill it. It's so light I have to put a heavy rock on the bottom to keep it from blowing away! For the price paid I don't think this should be a problem. I wasn't expecting much security from this box, but if you hit it hard it will explode. Also, the rear hinges are just pins held in place by soft plastic tabs (see image, lid closed in locking position). There is a gap on the back for easy access to the hinges, removing the pins and opening even with the lock installed. The whole box is held by plastic clasps, very flimsy. This crate is not durable at all. The screw holding the lid holder is broken. I called the manufacturer and they have a 1 year warranty. Cosco will not endorse the product. Said they have no spares and spares. I had to resolve the issue with Revain or the third party I bought it from. The seller said he would send me some replacement hardware but it hasn't arrived yet. The way this thing snaps open I'm afraid it will fall apart so I used gorilla tape on the inside to keep it from falling apart.

We needed something like this for the front of our gate so the delivery people could put small/medium packages in there without having to go through the gate and all the way to the end of the street.
