Don't expect much at first

I wasn't good with it! I was expecting this to work like a chocolate stick! I thought of pressing the case to reset the line once we had poured the chocolate. but it really wasn't very good. If we press the handle on top, it works fine! But that serves no purpose. If anyone has any information on how to use it that would be great!

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Not everything fits

But would happily recommend it.

I've tried ganache and frosting and I have no more control than a piping bag and I hate them! If it's thin enough to be sucked into a container, it's too thin. Also, I get air bubbles. I've found tipped Wilton bottles to be much more effective. Note: I'm not good with piping so I need all the help I can. I was hoping this would help, but unfortunately for me it's overkill.

Pros
  • Wide variety
Cons
  • Purity

Good but expected more

The Cuisipro pen is fine. I say this because I tried using the fine tip with a mixture that had some spices in it and they didn't go through the fine tip until removed. Squeezing out the mass is a bit hard, the piping bag is usually softer when squeezing out. I'm a pastry chef and I've always had trouble writing text on cakes, but it didn't help. I only recommend this product for plate decorations and more abstract shapes in general, not for writing.

Pros
  • Looking forward to it
Cons
  • Hard to say

Such a mess and doesn't work well

This was bought as a stocking filler for my teenage daughter. It looked promising and was easy to use. Not correct! It's a complete mess to fill and the icing comes out faster from the top than from the bottom. Even if you prevent the icing from getting on your work (although it will be on your hand), it will have such a wavy thin icing line that it looks worse than just using a tip and disposable bag. And it's a mess to clean up. We almost decided to throw it in the bin instead of doing our…

Good quality for kitchen and dining room

This is definitely a cool kitchen tool. I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 because it's *a little* more expensive than I think. Also, the storage chamber for everything you decorate is quite small. However, it needs to be fairly small to provide the necessary level of control when using it. Durable plastic tip and plunger. The body is made of thick plastic. This is definitely well done. The good thing is that you can remove the tip to get a thicker line. I used it to drizzle some frosting on some

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Expensive insurance
