One bottle, single use

The product comes with a decent regulator. Right off the bat the trigger kept licking the pin to turn on the air and I had to manually line it up and hold the trigger down. It was very free. I made the first bottle, twisted it tightly with my hand and couldn't unscrew it afterwards to save my life. So, to finish my job I have to buy a new gun because for some reason the bottles get stuck in the threads. Good for small jobs but you can't reuse it.

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • socket required

Works Great: Tools & Equipment

I used this gun to spray 7 bottles of U-POL on a CJ-5 Jeep. The gun worked great. There were complaints about the trigger but it must have been redesigned as mine worked perfectly. Towel 1 inch away from the nozzle. If you close the nozzle, the gun will not draw acetone. I set the nozzle at 4 revs and 50psi to get a pattern in the picture.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Volume

Works but barely

So I bought this separately from the Raptor Deployment Kit and have to say this thing is easier than a white girl drinking a Pumpkin Spice Latte. The trigger is absolute crap and incredibly tight. I taped the connectors around and the air was still leaking. This thing will work, but I wouldn't expect it to last much longer than 1 use. the metal is very weak and incredibly soft. The adjustment knob is a joke as a quarter turn can take you from 0 to 80psi.

  • Price
Cons
  • Expensive

Works fine but the trigger is missing

I ended up gluing a piece of thick plastic behind the part the trigger presses onto the valve. The plastic trigger flexes too much, causing it to slip out of the place where it should have pulled. The easy solution for me was to just tape a thick piece of plastic over the whole area and cover the holes behind the trigger. As for adjusting the nozzle, I personally found it had little to do. I've found that adjusting spacing and air pressure has a much greater impact on texture. Overall, that's…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • I have no real complaints about it, everything is fine

VERY BAD EXTRACT on body repair tools

The trigger is absolute garbage. The angle of the trigger relative to the rotation of the trigger itself makes no sense. The pin behind the trigger is just a flat bar (no rounds or anything to prevent a lot of friction between it and the trigger). My gun kept jamming when I tried to spray, and while doing so I got large, uneven spatter when the trigger was half-jammed (I let some air through, but not enough to properly spray the spatter-causing content). . I went ahead and sharpened the trigger

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Some problems
