WITHSTANDS UNEXPECTED WEATHER - You can mount the DCMT-4000 outdoors even during winter since the wireless transmitter works fine from -30 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Great product - works well at 1/2 mile distance

is about 1/4 mile from the receiver and not in a straight line, but it works very well. Also useful is the ability to add transmitters to a receiver.

  • HAS A DIFFERENT APPLICATION - You can use the IR sensor to detect intruders outside your home, vehicles entering your driveway, tool shed, patio, etc. Simply install the DCMT-4000 on a tree or wooden board. Place and position it to monitor your chosen area.

Good Motion Motion Detector

Pretty complicated setup procedure for someone not used to working with small electronics. Four jumpers must be installed on the board. This is easy when you are sure.

The quality has never been bad! Expect another 10 years without problems.

I would like better photos of the drop sites. The product works very well! However, I have noticed that my device does not report the status of the second alarm transmitter within 10 seconds of the first triggering. My first location is the driveway, the second is watching the garage door/apron. There are many mounting options with this unit, I like the ability to toggle the transmitter LED on and off, I think it should be a switch function and not a selection. Pin code. Great for safety alerts and wildlife spotting Portable

Hang on a nail outside and plug the main unit into the mains at home. That means you can take it to your cabin or hotel and set up notifications there! We have been using this type of alarm for 30 years and some of them are no longer available. We have been using Dakota for at least 5 years now and are satisfied with the reliability, good range and reasonable price.
