Bad repair!

Doesn't seem like the particular repairer I bought it from, PrimeTimeBuys, does many repairs. Perhaps what they actually sell is more of a used laptop with a 90 day warranty. When I ordered the laptop, the first one I received didn't have a touchpad. The pointer didn't move well. When someone repairs a laptop, they will notice when the touchpad isn't working! I tried different drivers and they still didn't work. So I told the seller. They scheduled the delivery and sent me a new replacement…

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Easily repairable

What an idiot I am.

Why buy an expensive computer when I can get one cheap! This computer is excellent and outperforms my newer Inspiron 11 (3152). The laptop looks good and works well. I installed an 8GB RAM module that was in my desk drawer and now I have a machine with 16GB RAM. The back has some wear (I don't care, I don't look at the back anyway) but the palm rest looks brand new. I don't care if it's not touchscreen but, as my daughter says, "touchscreens for tablets and phones". I will never buy a new…

Computers and tablets overheat

I got this laptop as a graduation gift last year and it worked fine initially but after a few months problems started to appear. The main problem that persists is the cooling system. I was working on a project or task and the system would shut down about every 5 minutes. I took the system to my university's tech support who told me they had the same issue when they tried it. They attempted to fix the problem by disassembling the laptop and lubricating the fan, which seemed unable to cool the…

Just unbelievable! Refurbished like new!

I ordered a refurbished model similar to the one I used at work. This is a discontinued model, but it is simply wonderful! Fast working speeds. Backlit keyboard. Easy to use. Came all preinstalled with the basic needs of the program/application. I highly recommend this route.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • For the old

Pleasantly surprised. Lots of budget computers

I have used a number of Dell products in the past. My main computer is a 6.5 pound Latitude E6540. My company recently released the Latitude 5590, which is a little lighter and much faster. Both are 15 inches. At first I thought the E7250 had an identical keyboard (minus the number pad on the right) to the 5590. However, measuring from "tilde" to "backspace" I find the 5590 to be 10.75 inches and the E7250 is 10.25. Not many compromises given the size of the E7250. I am very happy with the…

Very good used PC in Computers & Tablets

So when you ordered a "refurbished" PC, you often got a dirty, used, in no way refurbished PC in the box. Now that Revain has its own 90-day warranty recovery program, you can buy a used computer knowing it has actually been cleaned and tested before you buy it. I am very happy with this purchase. Is Jeff Bezos the devil? If Revane continues to kill the competition with better and better ideas, will we all bow down to him in a few decades when Revane rules the world?

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Great laptop reduced price

I bought this Dell laptop at a great price because I have the same one at work and I really like it. It's actually better than my work machine as it has a backlit keyboard. I wholeheartedly recommend this laptop and the seller Odyssey Computer.

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • No instructions

Ideal size for on the go and long battery life.

My Dell Latitude E7250 arrived on time and well packaged. After the repair, it had a slight wear on the outer shell. I traveled last week so I had a chance to try it. I was pleasantly surprised by its fast charging and the battery lasted 3 hours before I charged it halfway. I used email and surfed some websites instead of watching movies. The price for this certified refurbished device was great. Not liking Windows 10, I downloaded the look and feel of Classic Shell for Windows 7 and have been…

Run diagnostics!

Very good model at a very good price. If it worked it would be a really good trip computer. It's not like this. I took the car out of the box and loaded it. He booted into Windows 10 and everything looked pretty good. But just to be sure, I went into the pre-boot menu (by pressing F-12 when you see the Dell logo) and ran diagnostics. Testing an SSD with a critical error (2000-0151) immediately raised an alarm indicating that the SSD was on the verge of death and needed to be replaced. Damn. I…
