Great for mini basketball

Bought this for my son to play basketball at home with a mini basketball backboard. It has enough weight to shoot like a basketball, but is light enough not to hurt you. Perfect for what we wanted.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

I liked the first one and when it started showing some.

I bought two of these. I liked the first one and when it started to show signs of wear after almost a year, I ordered another one and threw the first away. The second broke in less than eight months. Not good enough to give away. I only use it three times a week for a maximum of five minutes in gym class, so I won't be buying a third one.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • periodicity

Good ball but I agree with another person that it's too big for indoor basketball hoops. Although it goes over the edge, the problem is that the net is small and only catches your ball because it's too easy to slide through. You either need a smaller ball or a denser/heavier hoop ball. But since I'm rating the quality of the product and not what I'm using it for, that's great!

Pros
  • Great for a small home

  • Some cons

Pretty good for my purpose

Bought as a squeeze ball for a full motion warm up. Quite soft at first but the resistance builds up quickly, a bit fast for my application but it might be ok as I get stronger and more flexible. 6 inches might be better than 7 inches, but I couldn't find one. I have 4 inches, that's really too small for it. The open-cell foam gets dirty easily and doesn't clean well, but I wanted to make sure it was fairly soft otherwise I would have bought the bowl.

Good toy for active kids

I bought a nerf gun for many of my family members for Christmas. My son and nephew are 1-2 years old and need something else. This is a good article. The styrofoam balls are quite heavy and durable. Kids can throw them pretty far, but they won't damage anything remotely child-safe. You shouldn't leave him in Aunt Helga's Hummels or anything like that, but normal household items are safe. The only downside is the confusion with the dog. Great value in a toy.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Boring packaging

good quality but looks exactly the same as the champion sports foam ball

My husband is nat. The teacher, he and his colleagues wanted to buy two styrofoam balls without a plastic coating. They had these balls and the plastic coating was starting to crack and peel, so they figured uncoated balls would work better. He bought this and a 7 inch styrofoam ball from Champion Sports. Both are absolutely identical. When they arrived we actually couldn't tell them apart. Considering there is a $2 difference between the two, I would suggest just going with the cheaper one…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
