App needs improvement

The product is not very sophisticated. It looks like the manufacturer took the security camera and app reference design with some modifications and launched it with this product. The dispenser works perfectly. However, the app can be improved. I use an Android phone. During the installation I was prompted to set a password for the device. I used letters and numbers. Then the app cannot connect to the device. I factory reset the device and run the setup again using only the numbers in theโ€ฆ

Great overall - Fixed fisheye lens and limited size (options) only treat photographers as negatives

I compare it more for home monitors than 'home' devices as I don't have much experience with pets. A non-adjustable fisheye lens that works well in both bright and dark environments. Of course, most of the photos โ€“ a huge dog nose in the camera โ€“ are there. Works well overall but with not much time away from home due to COVID it may not be the best time to get one. Used it to distract dogs when they bark at the front door which was nice but worried it seems to trick you into behaving butโ€ฆ

Okay, but there is no such thing as a 'real' guide (and it's in mid-time)

My kitty loves it and I love seeing him while I'm away. The 2-way mic works well - sometimes it takes a while to buffer. The quality of the camera is pretty good, especially considering that it's a pet-friendly device. He spits out treats great now that I'm using treats much smaller than the maximum recommended size. (Don't use treats that are too wet/soft and can stick together. Only harder treats seem to work.) Manually dispensing a treat from the app works great. However, there is noโ€ฆ
