Call me lazy, but I hate flossing.

I'm 67. I don't floss. never have Have been using them for more than 10 years. When I go to the dentist, my gums are in excellent condition, the distance between the tooth and the gum is 1, 2 and 3 mm. I don't like flossing because it takes two hands (what a burden! How the hell do people get the energy to use both hands?) and because it's easier. Call me lazy, but dental floss is too harsh and can be used anytime.

Pros
  • I like everything so far
Cons
  • There's nothing here

Great picks for toothpicks

They are beautiful and versatile. I can use one end to just scrape away plaque and the other end to really clean between my teeth. One thing you may have to put up with is that the deep clean end has stiff bristles. They hurt when I first used them, but when my gums harden I don't notice. one a day, and the box lasts for a year.

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • Good but not great

Not for those with an advanced arms recession.

My rating is based on how useful this product is to me. The pictures show this product, 'white', and the model my dentist gave me, made by Oral B, is blue. As you can see, there is a big difference in size between them. My rating for gingival recession was in the 3.4 category and sometimes 5. These small samples are useless to me as they are just too small to be of any use. However, they do fit between some of my teeth that were too tight. Perhaps it would make sense for a person with good to…

Perfect for braces Best in Dental Floss & Picks

Got these for my daughter to take on the go. It helps when food gets stuck in braces and between teeth. She says it works great and she's glad she has this set. Not only did we get a large set of these, but we also bought a travel keychain. She puts them in her backpack so she always has them with her. This is a good product to keep our teeth healthy while we spend so much money on their repair.

Pros
  • I keep my fists

Lighter than thread. c Oral Care

I used to floss after eating. In fact, a little boy across the street bought me dental floss for Christmas. laughed stupidly. I was very happy when I found these brushes. They do the same job as dental floss and come in very handy when you're not at home. Another floss before bed. The most hygienic people always ask what I do to keep my gums plaque free. I love these collections. You have to be gentle because someone I know was too aggressive and hurt their gums.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Wrinkled

ok with one exception

love using these as our kids never forget to floss but will use it after every meal and snack. The only problem I have with them is that the small part of the tip at the end comes off very easily so it either gets stuck in the tooth or just in the mouth and it's tiring when my kids use it. That being said I would still recommend as other brands have a hard plastic part of the tips which while not coming off does hurt gums and doesn't seem to scratch between teeth as well as this nib. So a good…

Definitely improved my gum health

I hate dental floss. Every visit to the dentist came with a warning that I had "deep pockets" in my gums and if I didn't floss, gum surgery would be in my future. However, a few weeks after the warning, I slowed down and eventually stopped flossing. - And then, about 5 or 6 years ago, I found Doctor's BrushPicks. I use them after every meal. Much easier to use than dental floss. The "bags" I had are long gone. Regular dental check-ups no longer show any abnormalities in my gums. No more advice…

These things are great!

I love apples, I usually cut them into 1/8th pieces. And sometimes spread with peanut butter. Delicious. But particles get into my teeth and make me unhappy. I could have assembled my portable water jet but by the time I had finished half an hour had passed and there was water and rats all over the bathroom! These things are EXCELLENT. I pull one out, slide it between the tines and pull it out. Apple pieces that have fallen out are removed. Repeat on other suspicious pages. When finished, to…

Better Than GUM Soft Picks

They are much better than GUM Soft Picks as they won't accidentally bend or break. They are very flexible and catch dirt in the mouth and especially under the gums. That's why I bought it, so I can go under the gum line and clean everything there thoroughly. They helped me tremendously during a 2 month study with bleeding gums. Consistent use after each meal has completely healed my gums. I can recommend her unreservedly. I still use them every day. I first bought them because a person blogged…
