Cloth is better than plastic. The watch strap adapter works great. Be careful not to overtighten the screws. I tore one up.

Great alternative to the original Garmin strap when my skin gets irritated. After moving to this group, the rash on the arm disappeared.

Maybe "shrinks over time" but the new one is hard and not comfortable. I returned to the neoprene group almost immediately.

I bought this strap for my Garmin HR but now use it on my new Garmin VivoSmart 4s. Slightly more than the strap that came with the 4s, just what I needed. Doesn't stretch like a Garmin strap but I'm fine with that. Good buy.

Much better than the original. I'm so tired of changing this band! It always stretched where attached to the watch and didn't stay in place. This is plastic, not silicone, and has hinges that attach to the watch. So far, so good!

I was looking for a replacement strap that wasn't like the velcro straps I've had in the past which make my Garmin look like a grand old tracker. This one works great, when I opened it up it came with an adapter for HR and HRplus connectors. All in all this is a better group than I expected.

The notches are further apart than shown in the photo. Finally, the strap retaining strap is not a snug fit, causing it to slip off and not hold an additional strap.

Edit: Less than a year old and they changed the materials! The replacement band (bottom picture) looks cheaper. i will return it I took my watch straps seriously because I wear them to every event. This wristband is expensive but worth every penny. It comes with a screwdriver and screws, but I reused the screws that came with my Garmin. Original straps last about a year, this nylon strap should last much longer. The material is of high quality and the packaging is simple but extremely effective to protect small parts during transit.
