This is much more durable than the one it replaced. The built in lighter/light really works and solar charging is not a problem. The base consists of a heavy ceramic interior and is easy to deflate. It works well, the lid sits firmly when closed, so the soft whisper of a half-extinguished cigarette doesn't erupt. The drink holder fits too.

This is a good ashtray that does everything it says on the tin. However, it interferes with the 2019 Chevy Malibu's shifter. I bought it as a gift for my son and he put it on the rear passenger seat after trying it on the passenger seat. Now I need to find another ashtray for the front seat so he doesn't keep using the random tray that slides around. and squirts a lot. But the lighter is pretty neat!

Pros: Light works well. Ceramic canister is welcome. The lid absorbs odors well when closed. The lighter works perfectly. Cons: The solar panel on the top warped and detached from the lid after about a month of normal use. The lid comes off fairly easily when unexpected. A price below ten dollars would be more appropriate. I've had it for a few months and am already looking for a replacement.

I really wanted to like this product. Like car ashtrays, stylish and the lid closes tightly. BUT. The lid doesn't lift all the way up, making it difficult to safely slide the cigarette butt into the ashtray while driving. I. The built-in lighter stopped working in less than a month. I almost never used it. It does not charge via USB or solar power. I would spend a few bucks more to get a more functional and reliable car ashtray.

I bought this ashtray when my other ashtray broke. I was very surprised at how good this product is when I opened my package. This ashtray keeps a pleasant smell and my car never smells like ash. Holds quite a lot of cigarette butts, which is very important to me. The only thing I don't like is that the cigarette extinguisher is very small and made of plastic.
