Disappointment is the best in Office Electronics

The scanner itself is excellent, 5 stars. However, the slide adapter produces fuzzy images that require serious color correction. I am a professional artist/graphic designer and would not recommend this transparency adapter to anyone. This is an extremely overpriced $450-$500 for the truly terrible quality results it delivers.

Pros
  • Office Electronics
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

This is fantastic value for film and slide scanning.

Another reviewer said this creates blurry images from movies. That's not my experience at all. You can also load up to 30 slides or up to 48 35mm negatives at a time. (You can also load a small selection of other films and use them to scan other films.) Obviously the 10000xl has a maximum optical resolution of 2400 dpi, so you get about 7 megapixel images from slides and negatives. Mine were great. I scanned my own negatives and my father's and someone else's negatives and slides and everything

Pros
  • Stationery
Cons
  • Requires an outlet
