Works great, holds my 1/2" heads very securely. I often pull these sockets out of my tool box into my tool bag and take them with me on the road. The rail works just as well in a side tool pocket as it does in a tool box drawer. Keep in mind that the magnets are not strong enough to hold the slot rail to the side of the cart or tool box. However, they are strong enough to hold my 1/2" sockets upright in my toolbox when opening and closing drawers, which I believe is their intended design.

Benefits: Magnetic twist lock, includes sticker to identify each retractable socket bracket and holds 17 sockets. With a scaffold-like sub-construction, it will still flex under load with a set of deep sockets. Aluminum would be better. The magnets aren't strong enough to hold a heavy set of deep impact sockets to the side of most things. There are only 2 magnets and they lack surface. Perhaps a steel backplate and a few more magnets will solve both of those shortcomings. (Update Edit) Was good

Having used non-magnetic versions for many years, magnets are a definite improvement. I work in a marine environment and I'm constantly moving tool boxes, which causes tools in the boxes to move around (we don't always handle boxes carefully, and placing them on moving boats doesn't help).
