It hammers nails very well, has a large head that is a short distance (compared to what I'm used to) from the handle so hammering toenails in the inner corner takes some time getting used to, even the claws are a bit small. Works well for pistol nails and 8d, but a 16d hand crank is hard to grab when the nail head is closer than 1/2 the stock. This is the best hammer for driving nails. The wider area on the head allows for a firm hammering of scraps and other wood without the use of a small block of wood. The precise feel of the strike allows you to drive nails into hard-to-reach places, e.g. B. between beams. It is very light and fits perfectly in the hand.
