Perfect Fit - Mirror and Parts

Easy Installation. Fits perfectly. I had to connect the mirror's two heating wires, but it was easy. The entire installation took less than 30 minutes

Not as advertised: Outside mirror

Advertised as a heated mirror but no heater connection as the old one had to be spliced. Should have been in the description.

Like a factory original, only quieter!

Great replacement. Ford wanted $900. Just a trick. Attach a string to the electrical connector before threading it through the door, then use it to thread the new connector back onto its mate.

The mirror is similar to the original, but the electric motor only worked sideways.

The mirror looks like the original, but the electric motor only works from side to side (not up and down). I could probably trade it in for another, but didn't realize I had a problem until the door was fully assembled. I didn't feel like doing all the work again so I won't be going back. I am ashamed! Now you have to configure manually. When purchasing, be sure to test the functionality before assembling the door!
