🌊 FLOOD/PPG FLD6-04 Floetrol Additive - 1 Quart (2 Pack) Review

Received today. I opened the box and saw that it was already leaking. I bought 4 in total and 2 out of 4 were not fully closed and it was a complete mess (see photo).

Product worked well but this batch needed streamlining. I had bits of orange/yellow stuff as other reviewers said. I wish it could be made back to what it was

This made my colors smoother and smoother. But it is not transparent, a foggy milky transparent color. So all my light colors would look dull after mixing these with them.

I paint liquid filled paintings and this medium has given me some of the most beautiful paintings. Keeps your colors vibrant and separated. buy again.

Flows well if not somewhat runny therefore little acrylic paint is needed (depending on paint quality). Amazing small cells develop even without heat. And the cost is much better than some high quality potting materials. Great environment itself! Take something and try!

I usually buy this set about every two weeks. I pour acrylic a lot and usually there are no problems. In addition, delivery within one day is a great advantage. However, when I received my package today, one of the bottles was 3/4 empty and the other was missing about 1/4. Very disappointed that I was absolutely certain that this is a great seller for this product that I order so often.

I got Floetrol for my pot samples and overall it worked very well. However, it definitely had some clumps in it, which is why it ruined the first painting I used it on (which is why you should always test your paint mix on something before using it on something you care about - lesson learned). I ended up shaking it before using it and covering the opening of the bottle with a piece of gauze to prevent the clumps from getting onto my paintings.
